Up Close & Musical Series

Westfield on Weekend's Up Close and Musical program is a series of large and small recitals with students and faculty performers from Westfield State University. The music spans the ages from Beethoven to Broadway!

Our exciting program is happening throughout the downtown area, at Westfield State University and at our Creative Arts Center at 105 Elm Street!

“On behalf of Westfield on Weekends and our Up Close and Musical Program, we thank you for joining the 4th season as we continue to collaborate with the University and local venues to offer free, fantastic music to our city. We look forward to seeing you in December for some exciting offerings.” said Kathi Bradford, Director of the Creative Arts Center.

WOW and Westfield State University have once again teamed up for the start of the 2025 edition of their popular concerts series that celebrates the talented student musicians, alumni and faculty of the university, as well as regional and notional artists of note. This year’s program spotlights jazz, Broadway, classical, pop, the saxophone and a classic operetta.
